About Noosa

We think that Noosa is the nicest place in Australia.

This is why we live here! Beaches surround the town. At one end of the main street is the start of Noosa National Park, which is a gorgeous park with cliffs, sandy beaches some fantastic walking and is the most visited national park in Australia.


And then we have the river. The sheltered Noosa river offers excellent swimming, boating and fishing. The hostel has free kayaks for you to investigate the network of canals that is Noosa Sound. Hastings Street which runs parallel to the main beach has very fine restaurants, ice-creameries, bars and a couple of busy nightclubs.

 

The climate is almost perfect. During summer the average temp is 29 degrees and without that oppresive humidity you get further north. Even the winter months can see you on the beach. Noosa is home to some great surfing and, of course, the Noosa Triathlon.

But what really makes Noosa the place to be is it's atmosphere.
